Angelical Ravings: Archives of The Ornate
The 6th issue of my literary magazine "Angelical Ravings"
If you are not yet aware, I run a literary magazine. It’s themes include revolutionary, surreal, and explicit works, but I also publish other content. This issue in particular features Erik Rittenberry, who runs the Substack “Poetic Outlaws.” The literary magazine itself is highly Beatnik-inspired, and the name of the press derives from a quote by Allen Ginsberg:
"my poetry is Angelical Ravings, and has nothing to do with dull materialistic vagaries about who should shoot who. The secrets of individual imagination – which are transconceptual and non-verbal – I mean Unconditional Spirit – are not for sale to this consciousness, are no use to this world, except perhaps to make it shut its trap and listen to the Spheres. Who denies the music of the spheres denies poetry, denies man, and spits on Blake, Shelley, Christ and Buddha. Meanwhile have a ball. The universe is a new flower. America will be discovered. Who wants a war against roses will have it. Fate tells big lies, and the gay Creator dances on his own body in Eternity." —Allen Ginsberg
The most recent issue in particular, as stated above, had a background of oddball collages I either concocted myself or secured by purchasing/supporting other artists’ downloadable content to share.

Harley, your magazine looks amazingly beautiful - a real labour of love! Also, I couldn't help noticing the Dharma Bum Poetess logo. That brought back some memories because Kerouac's Dharma Bums was one of my favourite books for many years. I couldn't put it down!
